HORSE LANGUAGE” BY  BERT SWENNEN OF THE SKY-FARM
Sky-Farm was set up by Bert and Ester Swennen  and has made helping horses and people its main goal. Sky-Farm wants to be the example of how one should raise horses, and keep in mind the physical and psychological needs of a horse. This is reflected in the housing, feeding, treatment, maintenance and use of a horse.

Te teach you to communicate with your horse, introduce you to the Natural Horsemanship and teach you how you can handle your horse differently, keeping in mind the natural needs of your noble quadruped.
We teach you to build up a relationship with your horse based on mutual respect and trust.

We treat problem horses and teach people how they can handle their horse in the form of individual lessons, courses, lectures and trainings and work for this purpose with specialists in the field.

In the short existence of Sky-Farm, Bert Swennen has worked with 100s of horses and has reached thousands of people through courses, demo’s, radio and TV.

Course week Horse language

Throughout the week we try to get through to the horse, we learn its language and learn how we can become the leader of our horse in a natural way.  Jointly building a relationship based on mutual respect and trust, together on the road, together ONE.

What can you expect from this week practically?
The participants arrive to pension “Jaskolka” on Saturday (you arrive by own transport). You are given the time to recuperate from the trip and the early birds among you are able to explore the surrounding on that day already. In the evening we meat for a cosy introduction.

We begin on Sunday, day 2. Working with horses takes up the whole day, but in the evenings there is enough opportunities to relax, make an evening walk, explore the surrounding, etc.  After three days of intensive lessons, we have a break day. On this day you are free to make a trip, go horseback riding, just read a good book or be lazy. We plan this break-day in because otherwise the week would be too intensive, and because this gives you a chance to get to know the things this area can offer you. After that we start with concluding the week and go on with two more days of hard work.
On Saturday it is already time to depart so we give everyone the chance to slowly prepare for the trip and leave at own pace.

Thus:
Saturday: arrival with an introduction in the evening
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday: working with horses
Wednesday: break-day
Thursday and Friday: working with horses
Saturday: departure

What can you expect from this week concerning content?
A small part of the week is a theoretical forming around the creature “horse”.

Each participant gets a detailed explanation on paper so that it can easily be read one more time at home.

The emphasis is of course on the practical work! Because it is there, together with a horse, where it happens.

We give a lot of attention to the communication with the horse through body language. We work with the horse in freedom and hereby try to achieve a trust relationship. We learn how to use our body to control the horse from distance, communicate with it, and learn to correctly interpret the horse’s body language.

Next to that, we also practise working with a rope, making the horse panic-free, and leading a horse on leash.
Naturally, attention is also given to riding and looking at how we can control/ steer the horse with as little help tools as possible, apart from our sitting, and we look at our sitting on the horse during the sitting lesson. A pleasant ride in this exceptional area is also part of the programme. Where could you better enjoy the nature than on the back of a horse!!

Do you want to understand the creature horse better and enable yourself to start a relationship based on mutual respect and trust? Do you want your horse to understand you and completely trust you? Do you want to learn all this is an exceptional surrounding with the possibility to get to know this beautiful area full of precious beauty of nature and get spoiled by food that is always prepared awaiting you? Then this course week is surely something for you!

For this whole arrangement you only pay 595 euros!
